Professional consultancy based on experience
DanGrid’s employees have worked on several Danish and international onshore and offshore wind farms. Our extensive knowledge in the area, especially on high-voltage engineering, is gained from many years of experience in designing wind farms as well as our professionalism and focus on the individual task. This applies to both wind turbines, substations and grid connection.
Our experts provide advice and perform grid calculations of everything from grid connection to planning/design of wind farms and documentation of national grid compliance. This includes, among other things:
- MV cable design
- earthing systems
- substations
- switch gears
- power transformers
This is done with sharp focus on coordination and requirements from the TSO/grid company as well as national and international regulations/standards.
Our initial calculations typically form the basis of the preparation of technical tender documents for procurement of electrical components and cables for complete grid connection of the wind farm. This is all something that we specialize in and have vast experience with.
Additionally, we advise on areas such as:
- supervision and commissioning of wind turbines
- cable installations
- substations
Furthermore, we may sometimes act as client advisors and ensure that the client obtains the right quality, both in the tendering phase, during production/installation/construction, commissioning and quality assurance of supplier documentation.
